Germany
DESTINATIONWith a population of 500,000, Dresden is the relaxed capital of the state of Saxony in eastern Germany. Walking through the city, you can see the various periods of its history, from ornate Baroque architecture to the sober buildings of socialist East Germany. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, such as biking along the scenic Elbe River, sampling local beers in a Biergarten, and hiking in a nearby national park.

SERVEDevelop relationships with German students in a variety of contexts. Live together with German roommates, reach out to secular students on campus, and disciple young believers. Participate in weekly NavNights and invest in individual relationships. Practice German with other internationals at the Navigators-hosted language café; many of the friendships built there have already been natural avenues for spiritual conversations and sharing the gospel.
